About Churmaint

Churmaint was created from real, hands-on experience of church life. As a church trustee meeting in a listed building, I saw first-hand how difficult it can be to keep on top of maintenance, inspections, and compliance tasks—especially when everything is spread across emails, paper records, and spreadsheets. At the same time, in my day job as a software product manager, I work on building systems that simplify complex processes. Bringing those two worlds together, I created Churmaint as a practical, straightforward tool to help churches stay organised, reduce risk, and feel confident that nothing important is being missed.

Churmaint gives you a clear, central place to manage your buildings, track recurring maintenance like PAT testing, fire alarms, and servicing, store key certificate details, and keep a record of contractors and work carried out. The dashboard shows what’s due, what’s coming up, and what’s overdue, while the compliance view provides an easy-to-understand snapshot of your current position. It also supports trustee handover by ensuring all knowledge—tasks, history, and contacts—is stored in one place, not in someone’s inbox or notebook. Churmaint doesn’t replace the responsibility of managing your building, but it makes that responsibility far easier to handle by giving you clarity, structure, and peace of mind that you’re up to date and in control.
